Ghulam Muhammad Memorial Welfare Foundation (GMMWF) is a non-profit organization was established in 2021 in memory of our late beloved father, Dr Ghulam Muhammad and our mother Reshama Bibi. The foundation carries forward the legacy of our parents to support and uplift the socio-economic status of less privileged and disadvantaged communities, particularly women, youth, thus, enabling them to make choices and transform their own lives.
The foundation is not merely about driving development; it ignites the spirit of community to take charge of its future. It encourages everyone to actively engage in the journey of development, from assessing needs and prioritizing aspirations to planning, implementing, monitoring, and celebrating success together.
We act with honesty and are guided by ethical and moral principles in all that we do.

GMMWF focus on improving the quality of life of citizens, unlocks possibilities on the individual and communal levels- aims to meet the human and social needs of the poor and vulnerable communities through and inter-sectoral and integrated development social services in the focus areas included; food Security, balanced nutrition, good health & Wellbeing.
The foundation has established a Free Community Medical Clinic at 70 JB Mansooran, Faisalabad, committed to providing free medical checkups and provision of free medicines to the people of the area, with compassion and care. The Clinic have dedicated clinical and paramedical staff.
Promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment has long been a part of GMMWF’s work. Additionally, it integrates the Sustainable Development Goals. The Foundation aims to promote the economic, political and social rights, the empowerment of women and girls; ensuring that their voice is heard; and address all types of violence against them.
Our practical approach is to implement specific initiatives as well as to integrate gender equality and women’s social and economic empowerment. Our vision on women economic empowerment is based on a multidimensional approach, which shall consider the complexity of women’s life and all discriminations, barriers, obstacles affecting their empowerment process. This includes promoting economic empowerment of women through the development of entrepreneurial skills and business development support, improving business environments for women entrepreneurs, easier access to finance, access to business development services, vocational training, leadership, social innovation and digital technologies for girls and women and business networks, etc.
In its three years, the Foundation has contributed significantly to vulnerable populations through development programs, empowering communities to make decisions and participate in needs assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
